Sustainability and the responsible use of resources are goals that the Sycor Group, as an IT service provider, has committed to under the framework of Green IT. But how can these goals be achieved, and how can progress be measured?
We have reached an important milestone: we have defined our own climate targets, and these have been verified and confirmed by the renowned organization SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).
The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) is a global organization that supports companies in achieving ambitious emission reduction targets based on the latest climate science. Its goal is to halve global emissions by 2030 and achieve “net zero” by 2050. SBTi provides standards, tools, and guidelines for setting appropriate targets. The corporate targets set are then independently assessed and approved.
The climate target of “net zero” (also known as net zero) means that a company, country, or organization does not release more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than it removes or offsets through measures.

Sycor has set the following targets for the first step by 2030:
The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) independently assesses and validates companies' targets in accordance with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Approval proves that Sycor's emission targets are credible and scientifically sound.
Sustainability criteria are an important part of Sycor's strategy. We want to do our part to protect the climate. By defining and having our targets recognized, we have achieved a level of commitment that also serves as an incentive to achieve these targets.

Our objectives have been published on this page. In the coming years, we will regularly report on the measures we have taken and the degree to which we have achieved our objectives in our Sustainability Report.
We are happy to help if you have any questions.
