Fall Release 2025: 
Here's what you can expect!

September 15, 2025 the new release of Sycor.Rental will be published and available to all customers. With this new release, we are taking rental processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain to the next level – mobile, integrated, and efficient. Two highlights are in focus:

1. Mobile Field Service – Fully integrated, offline capable, out-of-the-box!

Our new mobile solution for field service is directly integrated into Sycor.Rental – without additional configuration or third-party software. Service technicians can handle all relevant processes digitally. Either via online data exchange in real time in bidirectional communication with the backend or offline. Possible examples:

• Graphically supported resource planning in the backend
• Order and activity management with barcode scanning
• Consumption and time recording directly in the app
• Mobile capture of photos, status messages, and ad hoc orders
• Offline capability with intelligent error handling

The advantages: Real-time data, increased efficiency, and lower license costs – all from a single source!

2. Workshop costs directly to fixed assets

Costs from workshop orders—whether for employee services or spare parts—can now be optionally capitalized and added to the value of the equipment. This creates new accounting opportunities and significantly reduces manual effort.
