SAP Hybris with SAP HANA 

Deploying SAP HANA makes it possible to speed up existing processes and the processing of very large data volumes. But SAP HANA is far more than just a database, it is a platform featuring numerous hardware and software-side optimizations for the real-time processing of data and execution of processes. 

With SAPUI5, innovative and high-performance user interfaces can also be developed on the basis of SAP HANA. Using SAP HANA as the primary application and data platform makes it possible to scale back the system landscape and therefore reduce the TCO. Since version 5.1, SAP Hybris Commerce also offers the option of using SAP HANA as a database. Evaluations e.g. about buying behavior can be prepared with the help of the SAP HANA analysis function as well. 

In the future SAP Hybris Commerce will also serve as an "inbound channel" for SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence (CEI). SAP CEI makes it possible to segment target groups in real time and purposefully position individual, personalized marketing measures in the SAP Hybris Commerce online shop.
