Sycor trainee passes best exam as IT specialist for application development in Lower Saxony

For this, she was honored by the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce at a ceremony at the beginning of November, along with 39 other top performers in their respective apprenticeships.

Laura began her training in summer 2018, focusing on SAP at Sycor. Despite the more difficult conditions since 2020 - home office and online classes at vocational school - she also successfully mastered these hurdles. "I enjoyed the training a lot. Early on, I was able to support the team and work on projects. Many thanks also to my colleagues for their support and especially to Alexander Dippel as my trainer, who stood by me with advice and support," says Laura Ehrhardt. "Working with the other trainees at Sycor has also helped me progress and been a lot of fun. I'm now a permanent part of the SAP development team and work from the Hamburg site."

"We let our trainees prepare for future projects by working on practical tasks, which makes it easier for them to get started in the working world," says Alexander Dippel, explaining Sycor's philosophy on training. He himself completed his training at Sycor a few years ago and has already held the role of trainer. "It is especially nice when we can convince young talents of our company and then retain them after their training. We are already looking again for new apprentices to start their training in the summer of 2022."

In addition to Laura, 10 other young people successfully completed their training at Sycor this summer.
