Sycor continues to promote new talent

February 16, 2018

Outstanding course achievements and social engagement should be fostered. That is why Sycor is once again supporting two Göttingen students with a German scholarship.

Julian Hanspach and Arne Tillmann will be receiving a subsidy of EUR 300 per month for two semesters. This amount is paid in equal shares by the federal government and Sycor. "This financial subsidy is intended to help students focus entirely on their course of studies," says Sycor Vice President Martin Renker.

Göttingen University in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and numerous sponsors has been supporting especially dedicated and talented students since 2011. The scholarships are awarded respectively during the winter semester. All enrolled students at Göttingen University may apply, except for doctoral candidates. Scholarship students are selected according to established criteria in a transparent process in the respective faculties.
