Introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (on-premise) and Sycor.BankImport for the automated import of bank statements

Brechmann Handels GmbH & Co. KG was previously working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, a proven ERP solution. However, they were faced with the challenge of modernizing their business processes and migrating to the latest version.

The challenges during the project were manifold. The performance of the system had to be guaranteed in order to enable smooth operation. The integration of label printing solutions required careful configuration and customization. The migration to the new platform had to be seamlessly integrated into the existing local infrastructure.
During the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premise, the focus was on various core processes. For incoming goods, the aim was to maintain an overview of incoming goods deliveries and optimize the entire process. Outgoing goods required smooth handling of the shipping process, from picking to packing and dispatch to the customer. Labeling involved the creation and printing of labels relevant to shipping or storage. The integration of barcode scanners enabled efficient scanning processes to record goods movements and minimize errors. Finally, the processes had to be adapted to the variety of order items, depending on the type of order (sale, return, exchange, etc.).
In the course of implementing Sycor.BankImport at Brechmann, a special situation arose: after a comparatively short briefing, the customer was able to work with the system extremely quickly and independently. From the customer's point of view, the implementation effort was well below the guideline value for service days, which includes installation, setup, training and initial support. This speaks for the customer's high level of expertise and the quality of the product and implementation.
