Sycor has been counting on specialists from its own ranks for years. This year the digitalization service provider is once again hiring 16 young women and men for training in IT and commercial occupations. The great majority of them are beginning an exciting new phase of life in Göttingen.
"We are very pleased that we were able to inspire so many young people from the highly competitive graduate market to take training at Sycor. The occupations of IT specialist in system integration and application development are the most popular. Then there are IT management assistants and commercial trainees," says Martin Renker, Director of HR Management for the Sycor Group.
The company, which has grown to more than 750 employees in the meantime, provides training across its locations in Germany. Sycor has a total of 20 locations, six of them abroad. Postings to North America for example are therefore possible in the course of training as well.
Generally training starts on the first of August. February first is possible as well. The undecided can also "check out" the company with an internship. This provides insights into the working world and a better understanding of the occupation being trained for. Sycor increased its annual sales by 20 percent to a total of EUR 85.1 million in 2017. The company also grew organically by 100 employees to a total staff of 750 worldwide. Sycor opened its 20th location in Freiburg in August of 2017, and the company moved into a new office complex on the site of the "Alter Güterbahnhof" in Göttingen at the end of June 2018.
