Cloud close by: Microsoft responds to changed customer requirements with German cloud regions
Have you heard? Microsoft Azure is the first service that is now available from Microsoft's new German cloud regions. The Microsoft Cloud regions in Frankfurt and Berlin combine worldwide standards with additional German security requirements and certificates. Now the two German cloud regions are open for the first Microsoft customers and partners. The new regions will be gradually made available to more customers and partners in the coming months. Sycor as an official launch partner of the Microsoft data center regions has the option of letting customers use the German Microsoft Cloud right away.
What are the benefits of the two German Microsoft data centers?
With delivery of the Microsoft Cloud on German soil, companies can master the digital transformation more easily while simultaneously complying with local requirements for data storage, security, and compliance.
"With the Microsoft Cloud regions in Germany, Sycor customers who have to obtain their data storage and services on German soil due to contractual agreements with their end customers now also benefit from the worldwide Microsoft services. The new, industry-specific compliance standards such as TISAX, which Microsoft offers with the launch, are of extremely high relevance for many of our Sycor customers. Therefore we now expect another wave of concrete cloud projects from our customers ‒ which we are very well prepared for," explains Sycor Managing Director Rüdiger Krumes.
