Alpha Trains, Continental Europe's largest private rolling stock lessor, has decided to implement Sycor.Rental, fully embedded in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The company will adopt the new finance system solution for its entire business going forward.
Alpha Trains is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Sycor.Rental. Currently the company, headquartered in Luxembourg, owns and manages a fleet of about 380 locomotives and 435 passenger trains and supports major public and private operators in 13 European countries. "We are managing our leasing business with Sycor.Rental going forward," explains Ingo Wurzer, Chief Financial Officer at Alpha Trains. "We were impressed by the powerful rental functions of Sycor.Rental, the trend-setting basis of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Sycor's implementation expertise."
"We are implementing both the finance and rental processes. In doing so, we will be going live with all legal entities at the same time, currently 20 companies in seven countries," says Sycor Project Manager Holger Doetsch.
Sycor.Rental is a fully integrated, practical ERP industry solution for the rental, service, and maintenance of mobile goods and for "product as a service" business models, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The solution combines the scalability and flexibility of the cloud with role-based, fully mobile access to data and functions. With Sycor.Rental, companies get an overview of their entire rental process chain, along with all other business processes, in one solution. Rental processes are fully embedded into the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations project module. The processes are backed by rental-specific asset lifecycle management and business intelligence functions as well as far-reaching and structured device specifications. Sycor.Rental therefore supports fast decisions through streamlined processes, user friendliness and ease of use.
