The Sycor Americas team journeyed from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Roanoke, West Virginia, on October 27 to attend our first ever team building event. It was a 2-day event hosted at the beautiful Stonewall Resort surrounded by rolling mountains and tranquil lake waters. We didn’t just go there for the great views though! We partook in a number of activities in order to help us learn even more about each other and to foster a greater connection within our team.
From a personality quiz to a scavenger hunt, from a game that challenged our communication skills to the drinks we shared around the bonfire (of course!), we were able to learn much more about each other and bond on a deeper level. We figured out how to best communicate with one another (even with those whose personalities, we learned from the quiz, are very different from our own ), and we strengthened our overall connection as a team.
The event was a big success, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
